It was everything that I expected and more! I stayed at the W Union Square (those of you that follow me on Instagram know I exclusively stay at W Hotels) and it was an incredible experience. Location was wonderful and service was fantastic. Room could have been better but I did stay in a Spectacular room where I’m used to staying in Suites since I get Platinum Elite upgrades.
We went to eat at Buddakan NYC and although I can’t say the food was incredible it definitely wasn’t bad. I loved the ambiance and the grand ballroom! I felt like I was transported to the grand hall at Hogwarts.
Limani was also on my list. Once again I wasn’t all that impressed with the food but the service was impeccable and scenery was beautiful. We made reservations so we got to sit by the pool. Romantic spot if you’re with a significant other.
And finally, my bucket list was officially checked with seeing the tree at Rockefeller Center. It took my breath away, not because it was so grand (it’s just a really big tree after all), but because of the years I spent watching this tree as a child at home thinking I could never be anywhere as beautiful as this. As I looked around I spotted so many travelers, people smiling with their loved ones experiencing the same thing I was: a travel dream come true.
